🚀 Website Updates

Exciting news from the Midjourney team! They are working on syncing rooms between the website and Discord, which is expected to roll out next week. Additionally, an editor is in the works, promising to enhance user experience significantly.

🎨 Personalization

A new version of personalization is on the horizon, featuring two updates: one less conservative and one more conservative. This update aims to improve the personalization experience for everyone. Notably, the code will change with the release of new personalization options (referred to as --p's), but users will still have the option to revert to the old ones if they prefer. If you haven't tried personalization yet, now is a great time to start. Simply rank pairs or like images from the explore page on the website to get started.

📈 v6.1 (Not 6.5)

The team is testing the model release, which is close to being finalized. They have decided to rename version 6.5 to v6.1 and v6.2. This new version promises significantly better image quality at low resolutions and improved prompt coherence and accuracy. However, it may offer slightly less diversity compared to version 6.0. The team needs to release v6.1 to collect data for the subsequent release of v6.2. They are aiming to release it as soon as possible, potentially waiting for an upscaler to be ready by the end of this week. There is also a possibility of rebalancing the default model aesthetic to achieve a more balanced female-male representation, which could be included in v6.2.

🔮 v7

Work on version 7 is currently in progress, although no specific details have been shared yet.

🖼️ 3D

The 3D capabilities are also a work in progress and are reportedly looking better and better with each update.

The team plans to allocate more resources to video soon, indicating that we can expect more developments in this area.
