Imagine Weekly – Issue 25 [November 24th]
Welcome to Issue 25 of Imagine Weekly 👋
The Midjourney team is hard at work on some exciting developments, with Version 7 being a major focus. Currently in the debugging phase, Version 7 is unlikely to be released before Christmas 2024, as the team will not be working during the holiday period. One of the standout features of this version is its multi-lingual functionality, which is reportedly working well. Internally, there are discussions about Version 7.1, which could take one of two paths: a turbo version that prioritizes speed or a slower version that offers higher quality. Alongside Version 7, an improved version of Character References (Cref) is ready for release. Interestingly, the aesthetic of Version 7.1 may differ significantly from its predecessor.
🤖📋 Have you checked out Midjourney Parameter cheat sheet, it’s free. Head over to Midjourney Cheat Sheets and give it a try. This is still an early release and work in progress. I’ll introduce more features over time. If you want to see something specific, feel free to reach out [email protected].

You probably know about outpainting in Midjourney. Now, Runway has introduced outpainting (expanding) for videos.
Introducing, Expand Video.
This new feature allows you to transform videos into new aspect ratios by generating new areas around your input video. Expand Video has begun gradually rolling out and will soon be available to everyone.
