Imagine Weekly – Issue 22 [November 3rd]

Welcome to Issue 22 of Imagine Weekly 👋

Hi to all new subscribers, and welcome back to all existing ones. This week has been super busy again. Midjourney made some great announcements during its office hours and many other ai companies have released amazing features. Let’s dig rid in.

🤖📋 Have you checked out Midjourney Parameter cheat sheet, it’s free. Head over to Midjourney Cheat Sheets and give it a try. This is still an early release and work in progress. I’ll introduce more features over time. If you want to see something specific, feel free to reach out [email protected].

In this issue you’ll find:

  • 📖 TL;DR; Weekly Recap of the Office Hours (or the extended recap)

  • 🛠️ Tools to explore

  • 🎨 Some new srefs to tinker with

📅 Office Hours TL;DR; Recap 2024-10-30

🎨 Personalization: New profiles and mood boards for tailored experiences.

📊 Community: Survey reports and feature voting for user-driven development.

🖥️ Batch Processing: Batch 8 for larger, faster image handling.

📈 Models: V6 and V7 models racing for release, with V7 potentially leading.

📱 Mobile & Editor: Native app considerations and enhanced editor features.

🎭 Consistency: Improved character references and new style systems with V7.

If you want to get more info, read the extended recap.

Even though the initial hype about the new Midjourney image editor has decreased a bit, the creations people are making are amazing. It’s great to see it being used in so many different contexts. Have you thought about re-texturing a logo?

🛠️ Tools

Runway has done it again with advanced camera control! It looks pretty stunning.

Some time ago, I stumbled upon Wonderstudio, which seemed insane at the time. It has gotten a bit quiet around it, but the team seems to be making good progress. It’ll probably change how movies are made. It makes sense that Autodesk made a move and bought Wonder Dynamics back in May. Check out a beta test by @EHuanglu:
