Imagine Weekly – Issue 17 [September 28th]
Welcome to Issue 17 of Imagine Weekly 👋
Welcome back, everyone, to this week's issue of Imagine Weekly! It's been a whirlwind of a week with the incredible new srefs people are sharing. The quantity and quality are outstanding, so be sure to check out the sref section at the end.
But that's not all. The team at MidJourney is hard at work on v7, and it sounds like many exciting changes are on the horizon. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this update will surpass FLUX and Mystic! 😬
I hope you enjoy this issue.
In this issue you’ll find:
🤩 Most Exciting Update
📖 TL;DR; Weekly Recap of the Office Hours (or the extended recap)
🛠️ Tools to explore
🎨 Some new srefs to tinker with
🤩 Most Exciting Update
As a software engineer myself, I can empathize with the challenges the team is facing while reworking all the moving parts of MidJourney. Although I am eagerly awaiting the update, I am most excited about the video model. Observing what other companies are achieving and considering the quality MidJourney consistently delivers, this combination promises to be extraordinary. For instance, the KlingAi Motion Brush is impressive (see the example below in the tool section). The team is also contemplating the 3D model as an extension of the video model, which sounds very promising.
To get to the point, enhancing the image model is certainly commendable, but video and 3D features are the most anticipated ones at the moment. It's hard to believe that V7 will represent such a significant leap forward compared to the current V6 or other models like FLUX and Mystic. However, we’ll see. Maybe they’ll surprise us.

🛠️ Tools
As mentioned above, KlingAis Motion Brush is insane:
Here is why @Kling_ai Motion Brush is absolutely insane!
We can literally control 3 different subjects at the same time and Kling understands how they should move, this is scary.
But the thing that really blew my mind is the car that's coming towards us actually avoids the red… x.com/i/web/status/1…

🎨 Inspiration, Prompts and Srefs
For today's issue, I've gathered some bold references for you to save and tinker with. I am still astonished by the variety of images MidJourney is capable of generating. The textures, atmospheres, and details are mind-blowing.
Another *super* unique style code that I'm loving.
Monochromatic minimalism with a sculptural, surreal feel.
Give this a go and show me what you come up with.
