Imagine Weekly – Issue 16 [September 20th]
Welcome to Issue 16 of Imagine Weekly 👋
Hi everybody, the MidJourney team is still busy at working on there V7 release. They’ve got some great other updates in the pipeline which you shouldn’t miss. This week I’ve included a tools section to make it a bit easier for you to grasp (or skip if you’re not interested). I hope you enjoy this issue.
In this issue you’ll find:
🤩 Most Exciting Update
📖 TL;DR; Weekly Recap of the Office Hours (or the extended recap)
🛠️ Tools to explore
🎨 Some new srefs to tinker with
🤩 Most Exciting Update
This week, I'm thrilled about the significant updates coming to the explore page! The algorithm is getting a major overhaul to introduce a "Curate Community Front Page" task, which will enhance image selection. The feed will be reorganized, replacing the "random" and "hot" sections with "new" and "top" sections. The "new" section will be automatically curated, while the "top" section will highlight the best content. Plus, there are exciting UI enhancements on the way, including changes to the masonry layout to better display various aspect ratios. The explore section is always a great way to get some inspiration. Prompts, styles or subjects to tinker with…

This sketch by Felix Koutchinski looks sick. Maybe MidJourney will release something like this one day 🥳
Midjourney Explorer
This is the first sketch of a Midjourney Style Explorer proposal. A question I get asked a lot is what to do with all of the marbles you create. Here, I submit a vision for how I would love to organize styles.

🛠️ Tools
With Gen-3 Alpha you can now use an existing video as a guide to generate new outputs with text prompts. This new level of control allows you to maintain the shapes and movements of your input video while transforming its style.

Kling AI 1.5: Unleash the Power of the Motion Brush
@Kling_ai just got massive updates, and it's the same affordable price.
But, to me, the most POWERFUL feature is the Motion Brush. It basically helps us direct the movement of our actor so our prompts can be super simple.
